How to make a witch flying past a car window AI video
Build a My Ride Is Here broom scene with a clear camera angle, one rider and a simple fly-by. Includes a starting prompt and troubleshooting tips.

The flying-broom commute works because almost everything looks ordinary. The camera is inside a car, traffic moves as expected, and a person on a broom passes the passenger window. One glance toward the camera delivers the joke.
The scene is often called My Ride Is Here. Dreamina has a published guide to this broom format. Here we focus on planning a simple version, rather than reproducing someone else's footage.

1. Choose a viewpoint and keep it
Start from the passenger seat looking out through the side window. The window frame and a small part of the side mirror help establish the viewpoint. Keep the camera inside the car throughout the shot.
A wide aerial view or sudden cut to a close-up makes this a different scene. For a first attempt, use one continuous shot and one action: the rider approaches, draws level and passes.
2. Prepare the rider and starting image
Use a clear photo of a consenting adult. A waist-up or full-body reference provides more information about clothes and posture than a tight face crop. Avoid sunglasses, strong beauty filters and a crowd of other people in the reference.
In your chosen image tool, establish the road, the rider and the rigid wooden broom in a believable composition. If your video tool supports identity references separately, follow its instructions. Otherwise, prepare a starting image that already contains the rider and broom rather than relying on a hidden reference feature.
Everyday clothes can make the scene funnier; a witch hat and cloak make the Halloween theme more explicit. Pick one approach before generating.
3. Describe the motion in a short prompt
A fictional vertical video filmed from the passenger seat of a moving car, looking through the side window. One adult rider on a wooden broom glides low over the neighboring lane. The rider and broom move together as a single stable unit. The rider draws level, looks toward the camera once, faces forward and smoothly moves ahead. Keep the car window, road perspective, face and outfit consistent. One continuous shot. No collisions, extra riders, text, logos or music.
This prompt has not been tested on every model. Select a duration and reference format your tool actually supports. If it struggles with the approach, start with the rider already alongside the window and ask only for a glance and an exit.
4. Check the broom, road and camera
The broom bends or disappears. Reduce the action and ask for a rigid prop with the rider staying seated. A clear starting image may help more than a longer prompt.
The rider slides independently of the broom. Keep the rider's posture fixed and describe the movement of both together. Avoid asking for a jump, a spin and an acceleration in the same attempt.
The car turns into a different location. Keep the window frame visible and ask for a continuous passenger-seat viewpoint. Remove instructions for additional camera angles.
The face changes during the glance. Try a less extreme head turn and a better-lit reference. Review the full clip rather than judging only the opening frame.
5. Finish the scene
Trim any unstable opening or ending. Wind or road ambience can support the illusion without a recognizable song. Use only audio you have permission to include, and make clear that the flight is fictional and AI-generated when you post it.
You do not need to film a real moving-car stunt to make this concept. Build the scene from safe reference material and generated images.
